SAN DIEGO

We started the new year flying down to San Diego for another 'Missions mission'. Unfortunately it was not a day of success.  The winds were horrible, mission was closed and we had to rush back because of a burglar alarm.

Mission Basilica - San Diegoe de Alcala

It was the first Mission to be founded by Father Junipero Serra in 1769.

We then drove to the old city for lunch and enjoyed the vibrant Mexican culture
