8/3 -  Bosphorus Day  -  8/4 Pria's Birthday

Bosphorus Day

Our driver picked us from our hotel and drove us to the Bosphorus, at certain spots he let us out so we could walk by the shore and enjoy the the sea and the sun

Views of the Bosphorus from the European side and people enjoying the cool currenty sea.

Here are some old Bosphorus buildings  that have escaped the greed of our times

Various memories from different stages of our walk

A couple of fountains dating back to the Ottoman Era and some  questionable fire escapes  

Lunch at 'Güzel Yer' with paternal cousins  and the view of the third bridge from the restaurant

After a long day and thousands of memories/pictures we finished the day with a dinner with maternal cousin Arno

An authentic dinner that included Turkish/Armenian specialties

... and onto 8/4  -  Pria's Birthday

We started the day with a visit to the Armenian 'Kerezman'

to visit mom & dad  -   nana & dede  - Takoog Morak

We had lunch at the best kebapci in Istanbul where we also had the first birthday celebration

... and then came the party

and a small sample of all the others

We ended the birthday celebrations with a cake and music!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY OUR ONE AND ONLY PRIA!
