Cádiz, 08/2007

Cadiz and Huelva are about 50kms apart but one has to go all the way up to Seville and come back down making the trip at least twice as long. 

Huelva was strictly family and here are some pictures of both:

Cadiz Cathedral: The Cathedral of the Holy Cross over the Waters (Spanish: Catedral de Santa Cruz sobre las Aguas) 

The Roman Theatre - Discovered in 1980, it is now partially excavated.  One of the largest amphitheatres built by the Romans it is believed to have been built in the 1st century BC.  In the 13th century King Alfonso X built a fortress over the ruins.
