Martelltal, 12/2005
On two days that were below 20°C we decided not to ski and
went on hikes in the forest in Martelltal.
This took us past the church of pilgrimage -
Wallfahrtskirche - "Unsere Liebe Frau im Wald" or Maria Schmelz. It is an
unbelievably beautiful little chapel out in the middle of nowhere. It was
built in 1711 by Count Hendl for his pages and still a functioning place of
worship today.
