Kloster Marienberg - The beautiful monastery of Marienberg
The crypt contains frescoes from the 12th century. They were partially rediscovered in the 19th century and completely uncovered in 1980. .

Once again we are in Südtirol visiting Glurns.
Since our last trip the roads have changed. While in the past we would go through villages, now most villages have bypasses.
We had to get off the main road [SS38] to go to town. Happy to report not much has changed, it still is a lovely little historic town with arches.
