CRETE

After,Berwang [Austria], Istanbul and Athens our long vacation had its finale in Crete.
In Crete we stayed in a resort called Kalimera Kriti [Literally 'Good morning Crete'].
We visited various towns and the ruins of the palace of Knossos - Here are some impressions.
The Hotel - family and friends
A great day in Heraklion. We visited the town, the museum and the port, did some shopping, and we saw the greatest restaurant sign in the world.
Koules Tower in the port - a derivative of the word 'kule' in Turkish which means tower.
And a very impressive museum!
Knossos is a fascinating active acheological site,where some of the buildings have been restored and some others are still under the excavation and supervision of archeologists.
