ZUGSPITZE

The Zugspitze, at 2,962 m above sea level, is the highest peak mountain in Germany. It is on the south side of  Garmisch-Partenkirchen, and is shared by Austria and Germany.

 

Amateur climbers helped with ladders and chains to a cross on the peak.
