During our stay in Augsburg, a quick drive took us to Ulm to visit the Cathedral. According to records even though it is called a cathedral it has never been the see of a bishop. Previously a Catholic Church it is now Lutheran.
Currently the tallest church in the world, it has a steeple measuring 161.5 meters (630ft).
