BODENSEE - Lake Constance

On our way to Arlberg we drove past Bodensee and made a quick detour to visit Birnau.  A place of pilgrimage on the shore of Lake Constance [Bodensee].  It is a Cistercian abbey and its church was elevated to the rank of a minor basilica by Pope Paul VI.
