Our first trip to Vail was short but sweet

Having skied quite a bit both in Europe and North America it was in Denver that for the first time I saw an airport ski carousel - actually turning around with all the skis.  I bet there are others too, but where?

We picked our luggage, our skis and our rental car and drove to Vail

Hotel Talisa

Après ski activities, at the hotel, included hot chocolate followed by a daily sabering champagne ritual - which on one of the days was dedicated to me, as it was my birthday.

Lunches: at he the hotel [left] and at 'The 10th' on the mountain [right][A quiet nod to 10th Mountain Division per their site]

Dinners:  'Vintage' and 'Swiss Chalet'
