TRAVERTINE TERRACES   &   NORTH GATE

Another day was a trip to North Gate passing the Travertine Terraces

          Roaring Mountain [above]

Travertine are geological formations  made up of limestone commonly deposited by mineral springs through a process of rapid precipitation of carbonate minerals.

     and we did all humanly possible to get to every spot on the trails.

... and last but not least here is North Gate  and the Roosevelt Arch
