Another hike this year was to Cogne and the waterfalls of Lillaz

AUGUST 2010

During a stay at Verbier, we drove to Italy via G. St. Bernard , had a wonderful lunch at Laa Clusazzin Italy on the south ramp of St. Bernard....

Drove onto Val du Rhêmes  -  all the way to the end ...

... and hiked towards Col del Leynir

We then drove to Piemonte and Vigezzo Valley 

AUGUST 2011

After visiting family in Freiburg we stayed first in Cogne and then La Salle, Courmayeur this summer.

From our room in Hotel Bellevue we had the view towards Mont Blanc from the bedroom and Gran Paradiso from the living area.
