February 2011   -  Viamala Schlucht - CH

During our ski vacation in Zürs, we took a day off skiing and did some driving.  We first went to Liechtenstein and then to Viamala Gorge in Switzerland.

This is a gorge that was a path during Roman times.  It was traversed by rock galleries cut into the walls of the gorge.  Today there are bridges that span the gorge and allow cars to drive through.

We did not hike down to the gorge as we had more travelling in our itinerary  for the day.

Here is Stephan's new baby which already has thousands of km. on it,    and some pictures I took.
