Stephan got a teaching position at UBC and we spent 2 years in Vancouver. It was one of the best times of our lives. Our commute was cut down from 12 to 2 hours.

Our trips included drives on logging roads and at times getting stuck in ditches.

We also witnessed some incredible logging
... and admired the natural beauty of British Columbia.
We went skiing in Whistler every time we got a chance - i.e. most weekends! And did a lot of backcountry skiing.
....... and several more times we enjoyed Canada and still do.
We spent a couple of days in Vancouver before we went to New Zealand. We had forgotten to get our Visas and had to wait for them in Vancouver.
